I’ve been somewhat of a fan of BitCoins for a little while now. For those that are unfamiliar, it is a digital peer-to-peer open source currency that actually allows for anonymous payments through BitCoin addresses.
Russ Roberts recently interviewed Gavin Andersen, principal of the BitCoin Virtual Currency Project, on the EconTalk podcast. The interview has a lot of information on BitCoin’s background, usability, and future. There are also some comparisons between BitCoin and the US dollar. Check out the audio below.
